Green Gas uses technology which has been developed for more than 20 years, giving Green Gas unique expertise in a wide range of methane gas mitigation uses. Green Gas has installed more than 120 MWel of combined heat and power generating capacity using mine gas.
Green Gas technology is supplied in mobile, containerised modules. These use advanced and efficient engines that offer the best possible flexibility and enable project risk to be minimised. Capacity can be adjusted rapidly, enabling energy supply to be maximised while minimising operating cost.
Green Gas DPB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Green Gas. it offers a surface and underground drilling capability as well as mine gas production and distribution. The company distributes around 100 million m3 of CMM (100% concentration equivalent) from both abandoned and operating coal mines, for sale as a fuel and for the production of heat and electricity.
DPB conducts routine drilling for gas drainage, geothermal water, geological exploration and large diameter ventilation boreholes, supported by extensive laboratory facilities.
