Green Gas provides a fully funded project through its own equity investment and structures the appropriate financing solutions.

We work with some of the largest and most capable financing partners to structure project finance arrangements in the best possible way, in order to meet the requirements of both the customer and the developer.This includes strategies to manage pricing, currency and interest rate risks.

Due to the consolidated project financing requirements of Green Gas International, the customer also enjoys access to some of the most competitive terms available in the local market.

Project financing requirements can be solved by the application of export credits, asset based lending, carbon credit trading, cash-flow lending or any combination of these. As an example, Green Gas raised finance for the pioneer landfill project in the USA which involved a mixture of asset based lending, from the equipment supplier and from a local renewable energy fund. We ensured that the loan documentation was fully coordinated with all of the other project agreements, and provided an interest rate hedge for the entire debt for the full term of the loans.

Financing is fully integrated within the Green Gas Value Chain. This means our customers only have to talk to one project development team for the entire project.
